This composition consists of four 30 year old trees that have been styled to create an integrated landscape. The deadwood (known as 'jin' in japanese) consists of three 'lightning strike' jins as well as the remnants of a fifth tree that has succumbed to the elements. These draw the eye and create textural contrast to the lush greens and browns of the foliage, moss and bark.
