About this pot
This piece was thrown at the Chojo studio by Nadine Knight. The rough finish with deep veins provides a strong texture that mimics stone and clay formations found in nature's harsher environments. This pot has been fired at 1250 degrees Celsius, includes wire and drainage holes, is extremely durable and is resistant to frost.
About Nadine Knight
Nadine holds a Bachelor degree from Sydney college of the arts , Sydney University where she studied under well-known ceramic artists Mitsuo Shoji and Gudrun Klix. Her work takes inspiration from elements within nature. The earthy finishes and textures of many of her pots are incredibly practical and provide exquisite harmony between the tree and pot.
