Returns and exchanges
We hope that you will be delighted with your Chojo purchase. If within 14 days of receiving your order you decide that it's not suitable for any reason, send it back! Please email us & we'll provide you with return instructions.
We will gladly provide an exchange or credit if you decide to return your order. If you decide to return your order you'll need to pay for the cost of the return shipping.
A refund will only be issued in the event that the item is found to have an inherent manufacturing fault. All products are quality checked prior to shipping and are sent in new condition.
In order to return items they MUST be in their original, new and unused condition with all tags intact. If the item is not re-saleable as new & in original condition the return may be refused & posted back to you at your expense. Proof of purchase must also be provided.
Any discounts received at the time of purchase will be carried over.
Returns are processed within five business days of receiving the item.
Online Credits & Exchanges
Your credit will be issued with a unique online discount code which will be equal to the value of your purchase, less any shipping costs paid.
The credit will not expire & can be used on any item/s. Simply enter the discount code at the shopping cart.
All sale items are considered "final sale" and may not be returned for exchange, credit or refund. If a sale item is found to be faulty or defective then it may be returned for an exchange or refund, subject to our inspection.
Bonsai trees (and products containing bonsai such as our Starter Kit with Juniper) are considered "final sale". We do not accept returns or provide credit or exchanges for bonsai trees that have been purchased.
Images & Colouration
In general, when shopping online please understand that there may be very slight differences in colouration of items depending on which monitor you view the item on. As an online merchant, this is not something that we can be held accountable for and this will not be accepted as grounds for a refund.
If you feel that the item is significantly different to the images you may of course return for an exchange or credit. Rest assured that we use high quality images and take the highest level of care with our pictures to ensure that they are accurate.
Our Returns Policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and you have consumer guarantees that cannot be limited by us. If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or any drop in value of the product (if you choose to keep it).
If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, we can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund. Merchandise returned under consumer guarantees can be returned within a reasonable timeframe subject to proof of purchase.
Merchandise marked as seconds or sample product must be chosen carefully as these items cannot be returned due to the fault that was identified at the time of purchase. If the seconds or sample product exhibits a fault (not related to the fault identified at the time of purchase), is not fit for purpose or is incorrectly described, it may be returned in accordance with the above consumer guarantees.
Online cancellations and order ammendments
Unfortunately we are unable to cancel or make any amendments to any online orders after your order is placed. Amendments may include but are not limited to:
- Change of delivery address
- Changes to colours and sizes
- Adding or removing items
- Applying discounts
- Full order cancellations
Please ensure all details provided are full and correct at the time of order placement.
