- Origin/Potter: Chojo Australia (Jenna Collins)
This piece is stoneware and was thrown at the Chojo studio by Jenna Collins. The rough, crackled finish will harmonise and enhance any bonsai composition. The pot has a subtle earthy finish designed to complement rather than compete with the aesthetic of the tree. This pot has been fired at 1250 degrees Celsius, includes wire and drainage holes, is extremely durable and will not be damaged by frost.
I focus on merging practicality and aesthetic. Minimalism and materialism. The organic and the urban. Combining different mediums, materials, and elements. Learning from the land, from the people, from the ancestors. Allowing myself to evolve in new and unexpected ways. Doing things for the love of the process and the connection to self, others, and nature. Putting all my deepest love, passion, and meaning into these works.
